✅ Case Study: Seamless Quality at NB Commercial Pvt. Ltd., Ahmedabad

Problem:
NB Commercial Pvt. Ltd., a leading drum manufacturer in Ahmedabad, was facing persistent quality issues with their 200-litre blow moulding machine (from another brand). The problem stemmed from a weak weld line in the parison and an unsteady, off-center parison drop, leading to uneven wall thickness.

As a result:

  • The L-ring drums failed top load and drop tests
  • Unable to produce sale-able quality article

Solution:
IFC retrofitted the existing machinewith our spiral mandrel accumulator head, designed for:

  • Uniform melt distribution
  • Seamless parison formation
  • Precise wall thickness control, independent of melt index variations

Results:

  • Straight and stable parisonformation
  • Uniform wall thickness across the article
  • Rejection rate remarkably reduced
  • Excellent drum performancepassed all critical quality tests with ease

Case Study: Consistent Production Restored at Blow Packaging (I) Pvt. Ltd.

Problem:
Blow Packaging (I) Pvt. Ltd. had imported a 50-litre continuous blow moulding machine from China. However, they encountered severe issues with parison formation:

  • One side of the parison was consistently thin
  • Wall thickness variation was unacceptably high
  • They were unable to manufacture even a single good quality article

Root Cause:
The core issue lay in the die head design of the machine, which failed to form a balanced, stable parison.

Solution:
IFC replaced the faulty Chinese die head with our precision-engineered die head, ensuring:

  • Proper parison formation
  • Uniform wall thickness across the entire article
  • Reliable and consistent production output

Results:

  • Regular production resumed
  • High-quality articles with uniform wall thickness achieved
  • Customer achieved consistent, market-ready output

 

✅ Case Study: Export Quality Achieved at Selzer Polymers, Trissur

Problem:
Selzer Polymers had invested in a 10-litre machine from another brand, but it failed to produce export-quality containers for essential oils destined for France. They assumed the issue was due to the B&R PLC controller.

Temporary Fix:
They were able to producethe 10 litre article in our 100-litre machine.

Solution:
They approached IFC to build a new 10-litre machine without a B&R controller. However, we supplied a machine with the same B&R PLC, and demonstrated that the problem lay elsewhere:

  • Our machine processed 2 HLMI HDPE flawlessly
  • Superior extruder and accumulator head design delivered the needed precision

Results:

  • Export-worthy containers consistently produced
  • The issue was identified as a design flaw in the previous machine, not the PLC
  • Customer recognized IFC’s technical superiority in processing performance

✅ Case Study: Stable Output & Lower Rejection at Vikram Plasticizers Pvt. Ltd., Mumbai

Problem:
Vikram Plasticizers was struggling with low, unstable output and high rejection rates using a blow moulding machine from another brand.

Solution:
We replaced their extruder and accumulator head with IFC’s rheologically optimized system that ensured:

  • Well mixed melt with uniform temperature
  • Straight parison output

Results:

  • Stable production achieved
  • Sharp reduction in rejection rates
  • Customer was so satisfied they replaced other machines extruders and accumulator heads with ours
  • Eventually purchased our full IFC machines

✅ Case Study: Powering Production at Polyene General Industries Pvt. Ltd.

Problem:
Polyene General Industries procured a second-hand KAUTEX accumulator head and paired it with a locally sourced extruder from Mumbai. However, the extruder failed to push the molten plastic into the accumulator head. The machine could not produce any parison

Root Cause:

The extruder lacked the capability to overcome the resistance required by the Kautex accumulator head.

Solution:
IFC stepped in and designed a new extruderengineered specifically to:

  • Deliver stable, consistent melt
  • Well mixed high quality extrudate

Results:

  • Smooth and consistent parison formation
  • Successful integration of imported and indigenous systems
  • Full restoration of machine functionality and productivity
